This was a school project were we did a rebranding of the existing company Mora Bryggeri AB.
The brief was to make premium labels for their soft drinks.
I was inspired by an Japanese art technique called Suminagashi, were you dip color in a tray of water and then placing a paper sheet on surface of the water to create a unique, marbling effect.
The text and logo is printed on rice paper with a UV-printer. The labels are sewed on by hand, quite ruff and carelessly, on the bottles to create a feeling of uniqueness and handcrafting. I chose to have the label covering almost the whole bottle so that when you are holding it, you can feel the structure of the paper in your hand.
January 2018.
